Best Year Yet

When it comes to January, are you often left behind while other people race on forward with their Best Year Yet already planned? Then we have the program for you! SBIS is running a business retreat on January the 16th is to help you plan your best year yet.

In order to have your Best Year Yet you need to understand two things; your goals and the balance between the goals of your business and the other important areas of your life.

December and January is that time of the year when businesses start to plan their year ahead with reviewing and reflecting on the months that have gone by and planning their goals for the coming ones. However, there are also a lot that don't do it effectively. It is no secret that the key to having a successful year is setting your goals strategically and reaching them.

This retreat that is running in January will help you set these goals, while also allowing Helen Cowley to keep you on track to reaching them by giving you a strategic plan! This isn't the only thing that will need to happen to make 2015 your best year yet. You need balance!

RetreatThe ideal state of life balance - perfect balance, if you like - occurs when all different key areas of your life fit harmoniously together. Nothing is out of proportion and no one element is emphasised at the expense of others. If you are going to bring more balance to your life, it will help to look more closely at what this state is meant to be.

Balance is not achieved by abandoning certain areas of your life, but by integrating them all so your interest, needs and responsibilities co exist peacefully and this is when balance occurs. There are 3 categories that affect small business owners that need to be balanced in order to create your best year yet! These are; physical, social and most importantly work life.

These three categories are examples of:

  • Personal needs and ambitions
  • Family responsibilities
  • Work responsibilities and obligations
  • Social obligation
  • Community responsibilities

Take the time in your business life to determine where you are, where you want to end because if you don't know where you're headed, no road is the right road. If you know where you are now and where you want to be, balance is the process in order to get there. With the help of goal setting, balance and Helen Cowley 2015 could truly be your best year yet!

This retreat is going to focus on you creating goals, for both you and your business but also your balanced work-life. If you need help with this then inquire about the retreat right now! If you book before the 1st of January you will get a complimentary follow up and consult with Helen to make sure that you're right on track to where you need to go!
